About the position

The Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) role is focused on providing production support for Oracle databases, specifically utilizing RMAN, OEM, and RAC technologies. The position requires extensive experience in managing large multi-node RAC databases and proficiency in Oracle 19c. The DBA will be responsible for ensuring the performance, availability, and security of the database systems while being flexible to work on-call, including overnight and weekend shifts as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide production support for Oracle databases.
• Manage and maintain large multi-node RAC databases.
• Utilize RMAN, OEM, and RAC for database management.
• Ensure performance, availability, and security of database systems.
• Work on-call, including overnight and weekend shifts as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 6 years of experience, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of 6 years of Oracle production support DBA experience.
• Proven experience with Oracle 19c databases.
• Experience with RMAN, OEM, and RAC technologies.
• Knowledge or experience with Post Gres SQL.
• Familiarity with logical and physical database architecture.
