We're searching for talented individuals who provide Oracle database administration support to a key government customer. We are looking for an Oracle Database Administrator to lead the design, implementation, and testing of a complex data infrastructure in support of our customer needs. This individual will work with network, systems, and application engineers to manage the database engineering and administration of systems for complex and high-volume data processing infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience using a variety of ingest methods and data management techniques, which includes a variety of data types, database functionality, compliance standards, and availability requirements. This individual will work closely with the customer, project managers, and engineers to facilitate communication to all stakeholders. The Oracle Database Administrator shall possess the following capabilities: Collaborate with a cross-functional team of software engineers, data scientists, analysts, project managers, and other engineers to support a high volume and complex data system. Assist with the design of network architectures based on customer data requirements and industry best practices. Provide recommendations on how best to support ongoing maintenance and enhancements of data systems and platforms. Development of unique solutions that will meet customer requirements and industry best practices. Provide recommendations for continuous improvement. Write and update technical documentation such as data system documentation.
