J-3 Professional Services is seeking an experienced Oracle Database Analyst/Java EE Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will work on the Enterprise Management Information System (EMIS), a suite of applications designed to expedite and enhance depot maintenance information. This system consolidates data from various databases into a single website for reporting, analysis, and updates. The EMIS database integrates inputs from multiple systems, including the Job Order Production Master System (JOPMS), Depot Maintenance Material Support System (DMMSS), Inventory Tracking System (ITS), Automated Labor Standard Data System (ALSDS), Exchangeable Productions System (EPS), Programmed Depot Maintenance Scheduling System (PDMSS), Execution and Prioritization of Repairs Support System (EXPRESS), Center of Parts Activity (COPA), and Maintenance Work Request (MWR). The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Oracle Database Engine and Design, as well as experience in database analysis and mapping. They will be responsible for developing and maintaining Oracle Database schemas, migration scripting, and trigger development. Proficiency in Structured Language/Structured Query Language (SL/SQL) programming is essential, along with skills in HTML development, Java, Java Server Pages (JSP), and Java EE technologies such as JSF, JPA, and CDI. The candidate should also be familiar with Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX) and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). In addition to technical skills, the candidate must demonstrate strong judgment, diligence, and attention to detail. They should possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage their workload independently. The role requires a self-driven individual who can anticipate potential problems and take proactive measures to minimize their impact. Experience in agile development methodologies and a customer-centric approach are highly desirable. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also essential for success in this position.
