About the position

The Oracle Database Developer will work for Information Technology Strategies, Inc., providing IT solutions for government initiatives. This role requires an active U.S. Government SECRET Clearance and involves performing Oracle database analysis tasks in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments. The developer will utilize Oracle RDBMS, SQL, PL/SQL, and data modeling tools to manage data ETL processes, ensure data integrity, and optimize performance throughout the project life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Perform Oracle database analysis tasks in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments.
• Utilize current Oracle RDBMS, SQL, PL/SQL, and Stored Procedures for database management.
• Develop and document logical and physical data models using data modeling tools like Erwin.
• Manage data ETL processes and ensure data integrity.
• Optimize database performance and oversee full project life cycle development, including code migration and database change management.

Requirements

• Must have an ACTIVE U.S. Government SECRET Clearance.
• Must have an Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) Certification.
• Must have 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience performing Oracle database analysis tasks in RHEL development and production environments.
• Experience using current Oracle RDBMS, SQL, PL/SQL, Stored Procedures, Triggers, and data access optimizations.
• Experience with PL/SQL, SQL Loader, and all aspects of data ETL into Oracle database on RHEL and Windows systems.
• Analytical database experience on large-scale application data models.
• Experience with data modeling tools, Erwin, for developing and documenting data models.
• Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager, SQL, PL/SQL.
• Experience with database performance and tuning techniques.
• Experience with current Oracle database and data warehousing features.
• Experience with Oracle data integrity implementation.
• Full project life cycle development experience in code migration, database change management, and data management.
