About the position

Epsilon is seeking a Database Developer II to join our Automotive Development team. This role involves implementing, maintaining, and supporting proprietary database systems, focusing on the development, implementation, and testing of data extraction, transformation, and load programs for large database projects. The position requires collaboration with internal teams to design solutions and implement programs according to specified requirements and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, and support proprietary database systems.
• Develop, implement, and test data extraction, transformation, and load programs for large database projects.
• Aggregate data sources for clients to deliver targeted marketing campaigns.
• Work closely with internal teams including Quality Assurance, Business System Analysts, and Project Managers.
• Define, prepare, execute, and implement data validation and unit testing methods to ensure data quality.
• Maintain applications using Oracle and Linux software.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in Oracle database development.
• 2-4 years of experience in Data Warehouse development.
• Experience with Oracle packages, procedures, functions, and analytics functions.
• Experience with Unix KSH scripting and TFS or other source code control tools.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the marketing or automotive marketing industry.
• Knowledge of Python and database performance tuning.
• Experience with ETL processes and automation.
