About the position

Epsilon is seeking a Database Developer II to join our Development team. This role involves implementing, maintaining, and supporting proprietary database systems, focusing on the development, implementation, and testing of data extraction, transformation, and load programs for large database projects. The position requires collaboration with internal teams and offers opportunities for career growth and advancement within the company.

Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, and support proprietary database systems.
• Develop, implement, and test data extraction, transformation, and load programs.
• Aggregate data sources for clients to deliver targeted marketing campaigns.
• Develop custom CRM solutions.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Business System Analysts, and Project Managers.
• Define, prepare, execute, and implement data validation and unit testing methods.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in Oracle database development.
• 2-4 years of experience in Data Warehouse development.
• Experience with Oracle packages, procedures, functions, and analytics functions.
• Experience with maintenance of applications using Oracle and Linux software.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the marketing or automotive marketing industry.
• Knowledge of Unix KSH scripting and TFS or other source code control tools.
• Familiarity with Python and database performance tuning.
