About The Position

The Oracle Database Technology Architect at Infosys is responsible for providing technology architectural assessments, strategies, and roadmaps for various projects. This role involves overseeing the development and implementation of programs, providing technical leadership, and supporting software development teams by identifying optimal architectural solutions. The position also includes analyzing and resolving day-to-day issues, performing software upgrades, and participating in sales pursuits focused on client needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution.
• 10+ years of Information Technology experience.
• Experience in planning and migrating Oracle databases to Amazon AWS.
• 5+ years of DBA experience in Oracle.
• 2 years of experience in the Telecom or Cable domain.

Nice To Haves

• DB related experience in maintaining databases and shell scripting.
• Experience in application database architecture, design, and support activities.
• Experience with CI/CD, performance improvements, query tuning, and automations.
• Strong leadership in enforcing new processes and best practices for database design and operations.
• Experience in driving technical product definition through the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Provide technology architectural assessments, strategies, and roadmaps for projects.
• Oversee development and implementation of programs.
• Provide technical leadership and support to software development teams.
• Analyze, fix, and provide root cause analysis for day-to-day issues.
• Perform upgrades to software as needed.
• Serve as a technical liaison between business, project teams, and developers/testers.
