About the position

The Oracle DBA position involves managing and administering Oracle databases, particularly in multi-tenant architecture, within Linux environments. The role requires expertise in various technologies including Oracle GoldenGate, Apex/ORDS, and cloud platforms, with a focus on ensuring database performance, security, and efficient resource allocation.

Responsibilities

• Manage Oracle databases, including Apex/ORDS, within Linux environments.
• Administer multi-tenant architecture database, ensuring efficient resource allocation and isolation.
• Perform database upgrades and patching to keep systems up-to-date and secure.
• Analyze and troubleshoot database performance issues, optimizing queries and configurations.
• Manage Oracle GoldenGate replication processes for real-time data synchronization.
• Troubleshoot application deployment and runtime issues, ensuring minimal downtime and smooth operation.
• Expertise with Apache and Tomcat setup.
• Configure and monitor GoldenGate processes to ensure data consistency across environments.
• Utilize shell and Python scripting to automate routine database tasks and maintenance.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience and knowledge of Oracle databases, including Apex/ORDS, within Linux environments.
• Expertise with WebLogic and Apache Tomcat setup.
• Strong working knowledge in Linux-based systems.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge in cloud technologies (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, etc.)
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD processes.
