About the position

The Oracle DBA Migration role involves migrating a Japanese legacy system from an 11g Oracle RAC database to a 19c Oracle RAC Multitenant database. This position is specifically for a contractor with expertise in 19c Multitenant migrations, and it is offered by a well-respected financial institution. The contract duration is 6 months, with the possibility of extension for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Migrate the Japanese legacy system from 11g Oracle RAC to 19c Oracle RAC Multitenant database.
• Ensure data integrity and system performance during the migration process.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand migration requirements and timelines.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting during the migration process.

Requirements

• Proven experience with Oracle DBA roles, specifically in migration projects.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle 19c Multitenant architecture and features.
• Experience with Oracle RAC databases, particularly version 11g and 19c.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a contract role.
