About the position

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the performance, security, and reliability of the databases. This includes implementing backup and recovery strategies, disaster recovery practices, and performance tuning for Oracle databases. The role also involves managing database security in both Exadata and cloud environments, as well as utilizing automation and scripting languages to streamline database administration tasks. In addition to technical skills, the position demands excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to system optimization. Strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities

• Manage Oracle databases in Exadata environments and ensure their performance and reliability.

Requirements

• Minimum 12+ years of experience in Oracle Database Administration.
• At least 7 years of experience in SQL Server Database Administration.
• Strong experience with Oracle GoldenGate and Exadata Database Machine.
• Proven experience in managing databases in cloud environments, especially OCP and Azure.
• Strong knowledge of database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery practices in Exadata and cloud platforms.
• Excellent skills in performance tuning and query optimization for Oracle databases.
• Experience with database security management in Exadata and cloud environments.
