About the position

The Oracle DBA position is responsible for managing and maintaining Oracle databases, ensuring their performance, security, and availability. The role requires extensive experience with Oracle Database 12c or higher, Oracle RAC, and advanced SQL, along with skills in performance tuning and shell scripting. The DBA will support multi-terabyte databases and collaborate with teams using Microsoft 0365 applications and communication tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Oracle databases, ensuring performance and availability.
• Implement and support Oracle RAC configurations.
• Utilize Golden Gate for data replication and integration.
• Perform advanced SQL queries and optimizations.
• Develop and maintain shell scripts for database automation.
• Support multi-terabyte databases and ensure their integrity.
• Conduct advanced performance tuning of Oracle databases.
• Collaborate with teams using Microsoft 0365 applications.

Requirements

• 8 years of experience with Oracle Database 12c or higher.
• 8 years of experience with Oracle RAC.
• 8 years of experience with Golden Gate.
• 8 years of experience with advanced SQL.
• 8 years of experience with shell scripting.
• 8 years of experience supporting multi-terabyte databases.
• 8 years of experience with advanced performance tuning.
• At least 4 years of experience with Microsoft 0365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• At least 2 years of experience with MS Team and Channel communication with a large team.

Nice-to-haves

• 4 years of experience working with a public sector organization (Federal, State, or Local Government).
• 2 years of experience with SharePoint.
• 1 year of experience with Jira.
• 1 year of experience working with Scrum.
