About the position
HTC Global Services is seeking an experienced Oracle DBA to support the Financial Data Warehouse. This role focuses on database development, performance tuning, and data modeling to enhance critical enterprise applications. Responsibilities
- Design and develop Oracle databases, creating new tables, views, and PL/SQL code.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize database performance, addressing bottlenecks and improving efficiency.
- Create and maintain logical and physical data models to support business needs.
- Write and test PL/SQL code, Linux shell scripts, and scheduled jobs to automate tasks.
- Implement disaster recovery and backup strategies, ensuring data integrity.
- Work closely with developers, analysts, and project leads to ensure smooth data integration.
- Develop technical documentation and ensure compliance with accessibility and security standards.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in Oracle database design, analysis, and performance tuning.
- Expertise in Oracle database structures, PL/SQL development, and performance tuning.
- Experience with multi-tier systems development (SOA, Microservices, etc.).
- Knowledge of Linux shell scripting and Agile methodologies (Scrum).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
