Innova Solutions is seeking an experienced Oracle DBA to join our team in a hybrid position, requiring three days onsite. This role is critical for designing, developing, implementing, enhancing, and supporting database systems that align with our business goals. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration, with a strong focus on database design, replication, performance monitoring, tuning, backup and recovery, scripting, software installation, and upgrades. The position requires proactive maintenance of production databases that utilize multiple master replication, specifically with Oracle GoldenGate. The Oracle DBA will be responsible for all aspects of database management, including troubleshooting and monitoring, and will partner with other operations teams to maximize system availability. The role also involves providing backup, restore, and replication support for production databases, administering database users, and ensuring database security in compliance with enterprise-wide guidelines. Documentation of production policies, procedures, server configurations, error logs, maintenance records, and troubleshooting instructions is essential. As a subject matter expert, the Oracle DBA will manage multiple moderately complex projects and direct team activities related to special initiatives or operations. The position requires working under minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned consultants or managers, and involves complex problem-solving where in-depth evaluation of various factors is necessary. The candidate will exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies to select appropriate methods and techniques for achieving results. Work leadership may include assigning tasks and resolving issues within the team.
