About the position

The Oracle Developer / Data Warehouse Analyst III role involves the development and support of applications using Oracle PL/SQL, Unix, and Informatica. The position requires extensive experience in application development and a strong understanding of data warehousing, with responsibilities including production support, troubleshooting, and collaboration with various teams within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Get knowledge transfer of existing Texas Home Acquisition data model to understand the current functionality.
• Document existing functionality and business rules.
• Provide production support of the Informatica applications.
• Monitor batch processes, including off-hours support during weekdays and weekends.
• Troubleshoot and address job failures promptly, collaborating with the ControlM off-shore group on re-run/re-start instructions.
• Assist with additional PL/SQL development.
• Create and/or support Informatica workflows.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced team environment and develop strong working relationships with business teams and IT groups.
• Communicate status and escalate issues early in the process.
• Use analytics skills to troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly.
• Switch between multiple tasks and work them in parallel.
• Take responsibility for assigned tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or relevant business discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• 12+ years of experience in application development.
• 7+ years of experience in Oracle 11g or higher.
• 7+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.
• 5+ years of experience in Unix/Linux shell script development.
• 5+ years of experience in a Data Warehouse environment.
• 2+ years of experience in Collibra.

Nice-to-haves

• Python experience (recommended but not required).
• Informatica Power Center experience.
• Experience in a de-regulated utilities business (especially in Texas).
• Oracle SQL developer or PL/SQL Developer experience.
• Power BI knowledge.
• SAP knowledge/experience.
