The Oracle EBS Apps DBA position is a critical role within our IT infrastructure team, primarily focused on the administration and support of Oracle E-Business Suite applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various technical and functional tasks related to the Oracle E-Business Suite R12, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of the applications. This role requires a deep understanding of the architecture of Oracle E-Business Suite, as well as hands-on experience with database administration tasks, including cloning, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. In this position, you will be expected to perform Oracle E-Business Suite cloning using RMAN and ad utilities, which is essential for maintaining development, testing, and user acceptance testing environments. You will also be tasked with resolving performance issues reported for applications and databases, tuning queries to improve response times, and providing extensive technical assistance to IT operations and application support teams. Additionally, the role involves monitoring application-related products, managing SSL certificates, and handling alerts raised by the alert monitoring system from both databases and applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in starting and stopping Oracle E-Business application services, troubleshooting concurrent managers, and executing code migrations using Datafix and Package execution. A good knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and RMAN for backups and recovery is also required. This position is based in Eden Prairie, MN, and is an on-site role, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and direct support within the team.
