About the position

The Finance Consulting - Oracle EPBCS Focused Manager role involves leading and delivering engagements that enhance financial performance and enterprise value for clients. This position requires working closely with CFOs, COOs, and CIOs to implement innovative business and technology solutions, manage teams, and ensure high-quality deliverables. The role emphasizes the importance of understanding client needs, developing strategies, and mentoring team members to drive successful outcomes in finance operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver small engagements or components of larger engagements.
• Identify key client business issues and provide service excellence.
• Evaluate and validate analysis, developing recommendations for clients.
• Implement and oversee the quality of deliverables.
• Manage day-to-day relationships to ensure exceptional performance.
• Participate in the development and presentation of proposals for business development activities.
• Mentor and develop team members.

Requirements

• Eight plus years of relevant consulting experience in a professional services environment.
• Experience with at least two completed full life-cycle Oracle EPBCS projects.
• Proficiency in writing business rules and Groovy scripts within Oracle EPBCS.
• Experience with Oracle Products such as Planning & Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS) or Enterprise Planning & Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS).
• Relevant experience implementing one or more EPM Technologies.
• Proven experience in Project Management (Resource, Scope, Budget).
• Experience writing Business Rules within an Oracle Cloud EPM Product.
• Proven experience interacting and communicating with both business-oriented and IT-oriented clients.
• Understanding of system deployment methodologies (Agile, Hybrid Agile, Waterfall).
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Nice-to-haves

• Relevant knowledge or experience in ETL/Data Transformation tools and databases.
• Understanding of finance business processes, including forecasting and budgeting cycles.
• Experience with pre-sales, proposals and RFP activities.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
