About the position

As a Software Developer Senior at GDIT, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing Oracle EPM Cloud SaaS solutions for budgeting and forecasting. This position emphasizes autonomy and the opportunity to deliver innovative solutions that enhance financial processes. You will be responsible for researching, designing, and modifying enterprise-wide systems and applications, ensuring that GDIT Finance operates efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, develop, test, and modify enterprise-wide systems and applications software.
• Analyze user/business software system requirements and determine needs.
• Determine the functionality of an application and perform upgrades over time.
• Maintain documentation to support software development policies, standards, and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of related experience; OR in lieu of bachelor's degree, 8+ years of related experience.
• 4+ years of technical or professional or consulting experience in Oracle Hyperion / Oracle Cloud technology.
• Knowledge and experience working with Oracle EPBCS.
• Knowledge and experience with EPBCS Meta data and data loads.
• Knowledge and experience working with functional users.
• Knowledge and experience with data conversion and loading source data into Hyperion.

Nice-to-haves

• 2+ years of experience with EPBCS applications and EPM automate.
• Knowledge and experience working with Oracle EPCM.
• Expertise in Oracle EPM Cloud modules including Narrative Reporting, dashboards utilizing ad-hoc queries, financial reporting reports, and Smart View.
• Knowledge and experience with UNIX shell scripting to automate Oracle Hyperion jobs.
• Experience in implementing and supporting Oracle EPM Cloud reporting for (EPBCS) and EPCM.
• Knowledge and experience configuring dimensions with optimal dimension design.
• Ability to work with multiple operating systems UNIX and Windows.
• Ability to understand and navigate relational databases for debug purposes.
• Knowledge and experience loading data into Hyperion with Oracle Data Integrator.
• Experience creating and maintaining groovy scripts.
• Experience creating and maintaining MR reporting.
• Participate in the launch of Oracle EPM solutions through the full cycle.
