Patrick Industries is seeking an Oracle Application Developer to join our growing IT Department at our Corporate Headquarters in Elkhart, Indiana. The Oracle Application Developer will play a crucial role in the development of technical specifications, software design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of the Oracle cloud ERP platform and its related systems. This role requires superior technical skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a rapidly changing environment. The Oracle Application Developer will be responsible for the full Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), which includes project initiation, development of business requirements, implementation, and ongoing maintenance and support. The successful candidate will demonstrate full competency in their area of expertise and will be expected to share this expertise, providing guidance and support to others within the team. Key responsibilities include designing technical solutions in Reporting, Integration, and extensions, enhancing error handling mechanisms, and ensuring timely notifications are sent out. The primary focus will be on Oracle cloud design, building and testing new reports, integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and Business Intelligence (BI) for reports. The developer will lead the design and development of integrations, particularly in Finance, Supply Chain Management (SCM), and Manufacturing areas, connecting cloud and on-premises applications, systems, and databases. Additionally, the role involves configuring and customizing OIC adapters, connections, orchestrations, and mappings to implement integration workflows and data transformations. The Oracle Application Developer will also maintain version control for all RICE components and ensure that Technical Design Documents and Solution Documents are updated accordingly. This position requires participation in discussions with Oracle and Functional track leads and business stakeholders to understand business challenges and provide technical solutions based on industry best practices. The developer will also be responsible for completing tasks related to Oracle environment refresh plans and schedules, ensuring a high degree of accuracy in refresh steps. A strong understanding of Oracle Fusion Analytics, Oracle FAW, and Oracle ADW cloud warehouse architecture is essential, along with the ability to develop, test, debug, and maintain custom web pages and user interfaces using VBCS, integrating these applications with Oracle Cloud ERP and other third-party applications using OIC.
