About the position

The Oracle ETL Developer plays a crucial role in data analysis and the use of ETL tools, primarily Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). Reporting directly to the Vice President of Enterprise Architecture, this position requires a versatile candidate who can handle a diverse array of responsibilities beyond traditional ETL tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills for developing and maintaining reports using tools like Microsoft PowerBI and Oracle Business Intelligence Applications (OBIA). A proactive attitude towards technology adoption and a willingness to explore emerging technologies are essential for enhancing processes and services within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform data analysis and utilize ETL tools, primarily Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
• Develop and maintain reports using Microsoft PowerBI, Oracle Data Visualizer, and OBIA.
• Demonstrate proficiency in SQL/PLSQL development and object-oriented programming.
• Adapt to changing requirements and effectively multitask while prioritizing workload based on business needs.
• Explore and implement emerging technologies to enhance data queries and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience working with ETL tools like Oracle Data Integrator.
• Proficiency in report development using PowerBI, OBIA, and data visualization tools.
• Strong SQL/PLSQL database programming skills.
• Strong object-oriented programming skills.
• Sound knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server databases.
• Knack for data analysis.
