About the position

The Oracle Forms Developer position is an onsite role focused on developing and maintaining Oracle Forms applications. The developer will work with Oracle databases, writing complex queries and PL/SQL database objects, while also engaging in full-stack development and application reporting. The role requires collaboration with team members and the ability to work independently under pressure to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Oracle Forms applications.
• Write complex queries and develop PL/SQL database objects.
• Perform database and SQL performance tuning.
• Engage in full-stack development activities.
• Develop application reporting, preferably with PHP and/or Classic ASP 3.0.
• Utilize code repositories, preferably Git.
• Use continuous integration tools, preferably Jenkins.
• Design relational database structures and ensure security measures are in place.
• Collaborate with team members and maintain effective working relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
• Oracle certification.
• Experience with Oracle databases and writing complex queries.
• Experience developing Oracle Forms.
• Experience with database and SQL performance tuning.
• Experience as a full-stack developer.
• Experience with application reporting using PHP and/or Classic ASP 3.0.
• Familiarity with code repositories, preferably Git.
• Experience with continuous integration tools, preferably Jenkins.
• Knowledge of relational database designs and ISDM.
• Experience with database query tools (TOAD, SQL Developer, SQL Navigator).
• Knowledge of database security and role-based security.
• Experience with Unified Modeling Language (UML).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to design specifications for application software systems.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize work assignments.
• Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, oral, and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum, XP, and Kanban.
• Experience in web development using XML and CSS.
• Experience with JavaScript libraries like JQuery or frameworks such as AngularJS, NodeJS, and React.
• Knowledge of environmental regulatory business processes and practices.
