About the position

IDR is seeking a UI Developer for one of our top Healthcare clients in Rochester, MN. This is a 6-month REMOTE contract role. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to join a large organization and work within an ever-growing team-oriented culture. The role involves creating and maintaining back-end services that support clinical and analytic applications, with a strong focus on data warehousing, big data, cloud computing, business intelligence, analytics, and machine learning. As a UI Developer, you will collaborate closely with data engineering, platform, and solutions teams to develop applications. You will work with Product Owners, Product Managers, Architects, and UI Designers to translate requirements into code that meets UI needs. Your participation in DevOps, Agile, continuous development, and integration frameworks will be crucial, as you will be working on deployment automation and configuration management using tools like ADO, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Azure Pipelines, CloudFormation, and Terraform. Ensuring proper documentation and maintenance of processes and source code will also be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will engage in expert-level troubleshooting, resolving issues through root cause analysis and system investigation. Continuous learning about the organization, its processes, and its customers will be essential, and you will perform assignments with moderate guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain back-end services supporting clinical and analytic applications, focusing on data warehousing, big data, cloud computing, business intelligence, analytics, and machine learning.
  • Collaborate with data engineering, platform, and solutions teams to develop applications, and work with Product Owners, Product Managers, Architects, and UI Designers to translate requirements into code and meet UI needs.
  • Participate in DevOps, Agile, continuous development, and integration frameworks, working on deployment automation and configuration management using tools like ADO, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Azure Pipelines, CloudFormation, and Terraform, while ensuring proper documentation and maintenance of processes and source code.
  • Engage in expert-level troubleshooting and resolve issues through root cause analysis and system investigation, while continuously building knowledge of the organization, processes, and customers, and performing assignments with moderate guidance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in building a UI using the REACT Framework.
  • 2+ years of experience integrating UI with Cloud technology.
  • 2+ years of experience integrating automation solutions with various systems and applications using RESTful Services, APIs, web services, databases, etc.
  • 2+ years of experience specifically with UI integration with Google Cloud and Big Query.
