About the position

The Oracle GTM Cloud Consultant will be responsible for implementing, customizing, and supporting Oracle's Global Trade Management Cloud solution. This role requires close collaboration with clients to understand their trade compliance needs and translate them into effective technical and functional solutions within the Oracle GTM platform. The consultant will ensure successful project delivery through configuration, integration, testing, and ongoing support after the system goes live.

Responsibilities

• Lead or participate in Oracle GTM Cloud implementations and upgrades.
• Configure GTM modules (trade compliance, classification, documentation, etc.) according to business needs.
• Set up product classification and restricted party screening rules.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather trade compliance requirements.
• Document business processes and map them to Oracle GTM functionalities.
• Provide recommendations on best practices and system enhancements.
• Integrate Oracle GTM with other ERP systems (e.g., Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud SCM).
• Work with technical teams to design and implement custom workflows or reports.
• Conduct system testing (unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing).
• Develop training materials and conduct user training sessions.
• Provide post-go-live support and troubleshooting.
• Ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage communication between stakeholders.
• Prepare status reports and documentation for clients and internal teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle GTM or Oracle OTM (Transportation Management).
• Understanding of Oracle Cloud ERP and SCM modules.
• Familiarity with global trade regulations, import/export rules, and compliance requirements.
• Basic understanding of SQL, PL/SQL, and integration tools (e.g., APIs).
• Experience in managing or participating in full-cycle implementations.
• Oracle GTM or OTM certifications (preferred).
• Knowledge of Oracle Transportation Management (OTM).
• Experience in GTM Cloud to on-premise system integrations.
• Familiarity with EDI formats and trade documentation processes.
• Experience with SaaS platforms and Agile methodologies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with clients and stakeholders effectively.
• Collaboration with project teams distributed across multiple time zones.
