As an Oracle HCM Functional Payroll Specialist on Deloitte's Human Capital team, you will play a pivotal role in assisting clients with their Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll implementations. This position involves a variety of tasks including system strategy development, gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, and designing both as-is and to-be business processes. You will also be responsible for demonstrating prototypes, configuring functional aspects of the system, conducting testing, and providing user training to clients. Your expertise will be crucial in organizing and delivering services across a range of complex projects, ensuring that client needs are met effectively and efficiently. In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will actively participate in the development of business and vendor relationships, serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide valuable insights into client challenges. You will also take part in the proposal development process, contributing to pre-sales, proposal, and RFP initiatives. Managing project financials will be another key aspect of your role, which includes developing financial plans and ensuring that projects are delivered within budget. Furthermore, you will provide counseling and coaching to delivery teams and staff, supporting recruitment and retention activities while offering guidance in the staffing process.
