About the position

The Oracle Integration Cloud Service Senior Developer is a crucial member of the Delivery Practice, responsible for designing and implementing integrations for Floor & Decor. This role requires a deep understanding of integration best practices and Oracle Cloud services, focusing on translating business requirements into scalable and efficient solutions. The developer will also mentor junior developers and stay updated on industry trends to ensure alignment with best practices and Oracle's roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud Services (OICS).
• Partner with ERP & Retail functional teams to design integration solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Conduct performance assessments and optimize integration efficiency.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Establish and enforce best practices for OICS & VBCS.
• Conduct thorough testing of solutions to ensure quality standards are met.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Stay informed about Oracle Cloud Infrastructure updates and incorporate them into solution designs.
• Lead the planning and coordination of architecture-related activities for integrations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or Business Management (or equivalent experience).
• Subject Matter Expert in designing and building integrations leveraging OICS.
• Expertise in OICS architecture and best practices implementation.
• Strong understanding of various integration patterns.
• Proficiency with Agile methodologies and participation in daily scrum meetings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Oracle Cloud Integration Specialist Certification is required.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Process Cloud Service and Visual Builder Cloud Service.
• Working experience in ERP/Retail environments.
• Proficiency with sprint management tools such as Jira.
• Ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies.
