About the position

The Oracle Market Development Director at Accenture is responsible for driving the growth of Accenture's Oracle business by establishing and nurturing relationships with Oracle field sales executives and Accenture stakeholders. This role focuses on developing and executing go-to-market strategies, enhancing sales opportunities, and facilitating demand generation activities to expand the pipeline of Oracle business. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in Oracle solutions and market trends to align teams and increase market share through effective collaboration and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Oracle and Accenture executive and field level relationships to align teams and grow market share of Accenture-Oracle collaborative business.
  • Conduct sales origination activities, including joint account planning sessions to identify new opportunity areas.
  • Facilitate and execute demand generation activities, including internal and joint enablement sessions and events.
  • Master Accenture's Oracle growth strategy and align it with regional business opportunities.
  • Educate both Accenture and Oracle on new go-to-market offerings to increase win rates and grow sales.
  • Work across Accenture's different entities and the Oracle organization to connect the right SMEs with the right opportunities.
  • Maintain ownership of the book of business (co-sell) between Accenture and Oracle and provide timely reporting.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales execution, sales enablement, alliance management, or Oracle client & market delivery.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience with Oracle or similar software and solutions.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Health & Public Services or Communications, Media, High Tech Industry.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working alongside Oracle or similar software partners with focused experience in partner strategy and sales.
  • Experience negotiating alliances, teaming agreements, and reseller agreements.
  • Understanding of current enterprise software market trends.
  • Experience in go-to-market strategy and sales execution.
