About the position

Responsibilities

• Analyze and examine payroll systems, identifying areas of strength and weakness.
• Perform thorough testing within payroll implementation processes.
• Navigate and utilize Oracle and UKG Pro systems efficiently.
• Create comprehensive documentation of payroll systems operations.
• Provide valuable recommendations for system improvements during implementation.
• Collaborate with and provide feedback to implementation teams.
• Manage payroll for a large number of employees, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Leverage knowledge of Accounting Software Systems for effective payroll management.
• Offer consultancy services to improve payroll processing and management.
• Monitor and maintain HRIS Payroll Systems to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements

• Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Payroll Systems Consultant or in a similar role within the healthcare or NHS industry.
• Proficiency in using and implementing Accounting Software Systems.
• Extensive experience in consulting, preferably in the healthcare sector.
• Proficiency in Oracle, UKG Pro, and HRIS Payroll System.
• Experience in handling payroll for over 500 employees.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrable knowledge of UK payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, IT, or related fields preferred.
