About the position

The Oracle PL/SQL Architect position in Madison, WI, is a full-time role focused on developing and managing Oracle-based applications. The consultant will be responsible for utilizing their extensive experience in SQL and PL/SQL, as well as their knowledge of Windows-based platforms and software development tools, to support an accounting program package used by various counties. This role requires relocation to Wisconsin and involves working closely with county interfacing and software support.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage Oracle PL/SQL applications.
• Utilize SQL/PL SQL for database management and application development.
• Implement object-oriented programming using Virtual Component Library (VCL).
• Work with MS Windows 11 Enterprise and Windows Server 2015+.
• Provide support and training for county interfacing and software tools.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in SQL/PL SQL.
• 3 years of experience with Virtual Component Library (VCL).
• Extensive knowledge of Windows-based application platforms and software development tools.
• Experience with Oracle RDBMS and PL/SQL Developer.
• Familiarity with Oracle DB Admin Tools and Enterprise Manager.

Nice-to-haves

• Delphi programming experience using RAD Studio 2007+.
• Basic accounting knowledge.
