About the position

The Oracle PL/SQL Database Administrator will work as part of a Scrum Team, focusing on the development and administration of Oracle databases. This role involves completing user stories, addressing bugs, and managing technical debt while ensuring database performance and security. The position requires a hybrid work model, with onsite presence required two days a week in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a Scrum Team
• Complete user stories, bugs, and technical debt
• Review, update, and develop PL/SQL including LRS and other Oracle Spatial operations
• Integrate PL/SQL code into Azure DevOps code repository
• Evaluate user requests for new data elements and features, providing necessary technical assistance
• Perform data modeling, prototyping, and maintain data dictionary ensuring uniformity of definitions and standards
• Monitor database performance and recommend efficiency improvements
• Help resolve database-related security risks and vulnerabilities
• Assist with required reporting as established by the client

Requirements

• Oracle Spatial (dynamic segmentation, LRS, SDO)
• Oracle PL/SQL
• Version control systems (Azure DevOps, GIT)
• SQL Developer (or other like IDEs)
• Esri ArcSDE (integration with Oracle Spatial)
