About the position

The Oracle PL/SQL Developer role involves developing and modifying PL/SQL and SQL views in Oracle, creating and modifying table structures, and performing performance tuning. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also coordinating with a distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify PL/SQL and SQL views in Oracle.
• Create new tables and modify existing table structures.
• Perform performance tuning and understand explain plans.
• Develop stored procedures, database triggers, and SQL queries.
• Develop test cases and perform unit testing.
• Provide regular task status updates to management.
• Interact and coordinate with a distributed team.

Requirements

• Experience with Oracle version 11.x and above.
• Strong knowledge of ETL/Informatica.
• Experience in developing procedures, functions, packages, views, materialized views, indexes, triggers, constraints, snapshots, synonyms, sequences, database links, bulk collect, forall, ref cursor, partition tables, analytical functions, collections, and writing complex queries.
• Familiarity with version control tools (SVN/Bitbucket).
• Knowledge of Unix concepts.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SDM Adoption/Horizon onboarding tools (Bit Bucket, Datical, Jenkins).
• Familiarity with Agile best practices.
