About the position

The Oracle PL/SQL Developer role is focused on developing and maintaining database applications using PL/SQL and related technologies. The position requires strong technical skills in database development, ETL processes, and collaboration with UI teams. The developer will be responsible for creating efficient database solutions and optimizing performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PL/SQL applications and database solutions.
• Utilize database features such as partitions, DBMS jobs, packages, procedures, functions, and Oracle user-defined types.
• Collaborate with UI teams to integrate applications and utilize cursors, XML, and JSON.
• Design and implement end-to-end ETL jobs.
• Optimize SQL and PL/SQL performance through tuning.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years and maximum of 10 years of working experience in total.
• Strong PL/SQL development skills.
• Proficient in database development utilizing partitions, DBMS jobs, packages, procedures, functions, and Oracle user-defined types.
• Experience working with UI teams/applications and using cursors, XML, JSON, etc.
• Strong experience in developing end-to-end jobs as part of ETL.
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL tuning skills.
• 2+ years of experience with Python, including exposure to DB connect libraries and others like requests, JSON, pandas, etc.
• 2+ years of experience in Shell scripting.
