The Oracle PL/SQL Developer position is a critical role within our organization, focusing on the planning, design, development, testing, migration to production, and maintenance of applications utilizing Oracle and third-party tools. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of hands-on experience in advanced PL/SQL programming, specifically with Oracle Database versions 11g and 12c. This role requires a deep understanding of complex query writing, advanced PL/SQL concepts, and performance tuning. The developer will be responsible for analyzing and converting business requirements into technical specifications, designing and implementing effective solutions, and participating in defect triage and resolution planning. In addition to technical skills, the Oracle PL/SQL Developer will support team members, including DBAs and database developers, in understanding data and meeting user requirements. The role involves collaboration with Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders to gather data-specific needs and participate in performance tuning activities. The developer will also provide production deployment and support as necessary, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the software development life cycle. The position is set in a hybrid work environment, requiring three days onsite and two days remote, and is expected to last for 6-8 months with the potential for a contract-to-hire transition. The successful candidate will thrive in an agile, rapid development environment, showcasing strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. They will also be expected to conduct research into software-related issues and products, working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
