About the position
The Oracle PL/SQL Developer position at Creed Infotech in Plano, TX, is a contract role requiring an experienced developer with a strong background in data load and transformation processes. The successful candidate will support the design and implementation of these processes, workflow mappings, data analytics, and end-user reporting as per project scope. This role is part of an Agile scrum team working on a Pega BPM platform, utilizing an underlying Oracle database. The position demands strong data analytical skills, particularly for data stored in Oracle and SQL Server, and requires regular interaction with onsite leadership and developers. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in PL/SQL and hands-on experience with shell scripting, Unix, and Linux. They should possess strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, along with a solid understanding of data management concepts, including database structure. Proficiency in Oracle SQL and other standard database query tools is essential. The role also involves coordinating and guiding offshore development team members, ensuring consistent implementation of the data model across multiple teams. Experience in Business Intelligence, including data architecture, entity relationship planning, dimensional modeling, ETL, OLAP, and analytical reporting, is preferred. Familiarity with ETL Informatica and database development in Oracle and SQL Server will be advantageous. Additionally, experience in Trading/Banking technology and Compliance/Independent Testing areas is a plus, as is experience in Data Warehousing.
Responsibilities
