Beacon Hill Technologies is seeking a highly skilled IT professional with extensive experience in SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, and Unix Shell programming. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in modern RDBMS products, particularly Oracle and PostgreSQL, and will be proficient in using the Informatica Platform, including Informatica PowerCenter and B2B Data Exchange products. This role requires a solid understanding of ETL processes and data modeling, with the ability to create mappings and workflows effectively. The successful candidate will have developed complex database objects such as stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers using SQL and PL/SQL. Performance tuning of SQL and PL/SQL queries is essential, along with experience in using standard Oracle packages and dynamic SQL. Familiarity with UNIX/Linux platforms and commands is also required, as is experience with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and tools such as JIRA and BitBucket. In addition to technical skills, the candidate should have a good understanding of programming languages and frameworks such as Java, Angular, or React, as well as knowledge of API gateways. The role also involves working with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Maven. The candidate will be expected to apply object-oriented analysis and design principles in their work, ensuring best practices are followed throughout the software development lifecycle.
