About the position

In addition to technical skills, the position requires the development of complex database objects such as Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages, and Triggers using SQL and PLSQL. The candidate should have experience with standard Oracle packages, dynamic SQL, and performance tuning techniques, including query rewriting and the use of Explain Plan and Hints. Expertise in collections, exception handling, partitioning techniques, and analytics functions is essential. The role also necessitates a solid understanding of the UNIX/Linux platform and its commands, as well as experience with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and SDLC best practices. Familiarity with DevOps practices, including tools like UC4, Maven, Jenkins, and CI/CD processes, is also required. The candidate should possess knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design principles, along with programming languages and frameworks such as Java, Angular, or React, JPA, Spring Boot, XML, and JSON. Experience with API gateways, such as Gravitee, is a plus. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain complex database objects including Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages, and Triggers using SQL and PLSQL.
  • Create mappings and workflows for ETL processes and implement ETL concepts effectively.
  • Utilize Informatica best practices for PowerCenter, Data Transformation, and B2B Data Exchange products.
  • Perform SQL and PLSQL performance tuning, including query rewriting and the use of Explain Plan and Hints.
  • Work with collections, exception handling, partitioning techniques, and analytics functions in PLSQL.
  • Collaborate with Agile teams using Scrum and SDLC methodologies, and utilize Atlassian products like JIRA and Confluence.
  • Implement DevOps practices using tools such as UC4, Maven, Jenkins, and CI/CD processes.
  • Apply object-oriented analysis and design principles in software development.
  • Engage with programming languages and frameworks such as Java, Angular, or React, JPA, Spring Boot, XML, and JSON.

Requirements

  • Excellent working knowledge and experience of SQL, Oracle PLSQL, and Unix Shell (or Perl or Python) programming languages.
  • Extensive proficiency in modern RDBMS products, particularly Oracle (latest version), with PostgreSQL as a plus.
  • Strong experience with the Informatica Platform and knowledge of best practices for Informatica PowerCenter and Data Transformation.
