About the position

Yakshna Solutions, Inc. (YSI) is seeking a highly qualified Technical Architect (SME) with expertise in Oracle Hyperion to join our team in Washington, DC. This position is a full-time contract role that offers a competitive salary ranging from $150,000 to $180,000 per year. As a CMMI Level 3 assessed and ISO certified woman-owned small business, YSI is committed to providing innovative, quality, and cost-effective IT solutions to both business corporations and government organizations. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our technical architecture aligns with the operational requirements of the Air Force budgeting cycle and other government priorities. The Technical Architect will be responsible for providing overall technical guidelines and processes used by development and support teams. This includes maintaining and updating all technical and operational artifacts related to cybersecurity, system architecture, software versions, and hardware. The role requires a proactive approach to identifying unique requirements and developing a roadmap to meet government functional and technical priorities, including Agile methodologies, DevSecOps practices, CI/CD processes, and cloud migration operations. In this fast-paced environment, the Technical Architect will assist in designing and deploying system architecture, ensuring compatibility with existing environments and security standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and demonstrate innovative thinking. They will also provide guidance on the best technologies for various projects, leveraging their extensive experience in cloud services, container management, and automated software build processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall technical guidelines and processes for development and support teams.
  • Work with the Government and technical team to meet operational requirements of the Air Force budgeting cycle.
  • Update and maintain technical and operational artifacts related to cybersecurity and system architecture.
  • Identify unique requirements and develop a roadmap for meeting government functional and technical priorities.
  • Assist in the design and deployment of system architecture, ensuring compatibility with existing environments and security standards.
  • Provide guidance on the best technologies for projects, including cloud services and container management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 10 years of professional information technology experience.
  • Experience in DevSecOps implementation using Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, SonarQube, and Checkmarx.
  • Experience with Cloud Service Providers such as AWS and Azure.
  • Experience with IaC automation using Ansible or Terraform.
  • Experience securing applications via CI/CD pipelines with static code analysis and testing.
  • Working knowledge of automated software build processes.
  • Experience developing, testing, and maintaining web-based applications.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Database Enterprise Edition and Oracle WebLogic Server.
  • DoD 8140/8570 certification required (CASP+, CCSP, Cloud+, CSSLP, or CISSP).
  • Secret Clearance required.
