About the position

Indotronix is seeking an Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join their team in Pittsburgh, PA, with opportunities in other tech hub locations. This role involves working in a hybrid environment, with a focus on design, development, and support in Oracle PL/SQL, as well as ETL processes. The position is contract to hire, providing a pathway to full-time employment after the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support Oracle PL/SQL applications.
• Create SQL Queries, PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, triggers, and cursors.
• Develop database objects such as tables, views, and indexes using Oracle tools.
• Optimize SQL and PL/SQL performance using tuning tools like SQL Trace and Explain Plan.
• Create ETL mappings and jobs to process large files using Informatica Power Center and/or Power Exchange.
• Utilize Shell and Unix programming for various tasks.
• Collaborate in a fast-paced agile/scrum environment with diverse teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
• 5-7+ years of experience as an Oracle PL/SQL Developer/DBA/DA.
• Experience in the financial domain is preferred.
• Proficiency in creating SQL Queries and PL/SQL packages.
• Experience with Oracle tools like SQL*Plus, SQL Developer, and Toad.
• Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL tuning and optimization techniques.
• Experience in creating ETL mappings and jobs.

• Familiarity with Java programming.
