About the position
The Oracle PL/SQL Developer role is focused on providing production support and development expertise in a fast-paced environment. The position requires extensive experience in Oracle PL/SQL development, including performance tuning and handling large datasets. The developer will be responsible for writing and optimizing SQL queries, stored procedures, and other database objects, while also ensuring the system's performance and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Provide production support and resolve issues as they arise, including after-hours support as needed.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, functions, and views.
- Perform performance tuning for database operations and queries.
- Handle large volumes of data, ensuring efficient batch processing.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance database functionality and performance.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle PL/SQL developer.
- Strong RDBMS skills, including SQL querying and writing stored procedures, triggers, functions, and views.
- Experience with performance tuning and handling large datasets (100 million records or more).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide production support.
Nice-to-haves
- Working experience with AWS.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Lambda development.
