About the position

The Sr. Oracle PL/SQL Developer role involves providing effective data design solutions in a Data Warehousing environment, focusing on performance tuning and optimization of large datasets. The position requires advanced skills in Oracle PL/SQL and DBA experience, with a strong emphasis on data modeling and building high-performance ETL frameworks. The developer will work collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver multiple concurrent projects while ensuring data integrity and quality.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective data design solutions in a Data Warehousing environment.
• Identify areas needing performance improvement and optimize queries, tables, and indexes.
• Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support data requirements.
• Build high-performance ETL Data Frameworks with error handling and scalability.
• Work with database partitions, indexes, CDC, purging, and data virtualizations.
• Drive diverse groups towards common goals and articulate problems and solutions clearly.
• Balance the need to deliver multiple concurrent projects while maintaining architectural standards.
• Create documentation for all activities and collaborate with the project solution team.
• Improve and streamline processes regarding data flow and data quality.

Requirements

• 12+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle development.
• Advanced Oracle PL/SQL skills with 10+ years of DBA experience.
• Experience in performance tuning and analyzing Oracle execution/query plans.
• Strong working experience in data warehousing and data modeling.
• 3+ years of experience in Agile/Scrum delivery models.
• Unix scripting experience.
• Strong data analysis skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Exposure to Python, Hadoop, and Gen AI/ML.
• Experience in the Financial Services/Banking industry.
