About the position

The Oracle PL/SQL Developer will be responsible for providing technical support and development for the IT Commercial Gas Systems Team, focusing on enhancing and maintaining Gas System Application modules and Oracle Database Objects. This role requires collaboration with end users and business analysts to understand and implement business requirements, ensuring high-quality customer service and technical support for Natural Gas Accounting users.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and support Gas System Application modules such as TIPS Accounting and gathering, BOBJ reporting, Oracle Database Objects, Data Archiving, and Interfaces to other upstream and downstream systems.
• Design, develop, enhance, and support PL/SQL Packages, Procedures, Functions, Triggers, and Indexes.
• Participate in project design, development, test and implementation activities with IT and Business users.
• Support for IT and User testing and deployment of Vendor Builds and Patches.
• Work directly with end users and business analysts to understand new/changing business requirements and functional enhancements as requested.

Requirements

• Attained an education from an accredited institution in Engineering, Computer Science or CIS/MIS.
• 5+ years of experience in database development and analysis (SQL and/or Oracle PL/SQL) required.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly self-motivated team player with a commitment to quality and customer service.
