The Oracle PL/SQL Developer position at Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is a critical role that requires a strong technical background in SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, and Unix Shell programming. In this role, the developer will be responsible for creating complex database objects, including Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages, and Triggers using SQL and PL/SQL. The position also requires expertise in SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning, query rewriting, and the use of Explain Plan and Hints. The developer will work with collections, exception handling, partitioning techniques, and analytics functions, ensuring that all database operations are efficient and effective. The Oracle PL/SQL Developer will also need to be comfortable working in a UNIX/Linux environment and have experience with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and SDLC best practices. Familiarity with Atlassian products such as JIRA, Confluence, and BitBucket is preferred. Additionally, the role requires knowledge of DevOps practices, including tools like UC4, Maven, Jenkins, and CI/CD processes. A good understanding of object-oriented analysis and design principles is also necessary. Candidates should have a solid foundation in programming languages and frameworks such as Java, Angular, or React, as well as JPA, Spring Boot, XML, and JSON. Experience with API gateways, such as Gravitee, is a plus.
