About the position

The Oracle PL SQL Developer position at Accenture involves extensive experience in implementing and supporting On-Prem Oracle Inventory and PDH applications. The role requires strong proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programming, with a focus on developing components, conducting code reviews, and ensuring compliance with SOX requirements. The developer will collaborate with end users to analyze business requirements and deliver solutions, while also engaging in automation and integration tasks.

Responsibilities

• Implement and support On-Prem Oracle Inventory and PDH applications using advanced methodologies.
• Develop components such as Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, and Enhancements within Oracle and PDH applications.
• Utilize Oracle SQL and PL/SQL for data retrieval, including the use of cursors, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Perform performance tuning and automation using tools like Power Automate.
• Collaborate with end users to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Manage integrations with Oracle SOA, BPEL, PL/SQL, and other middleware technologies.
• Conduct code reviews for monthly release components to maintain quality standards.
• Support production migrations ensuring SOX compliance and auditing requirements are met.
• Track bugs and identify process issues for long-term resolutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for effective data flow integration with ERP and downstream systems.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as an Oracle Apps Developer.
• Strong proficiency in PL SQL and Oracle SOA.
• Experience with Oracle SQL programming and performance tuning.
• Ability to develop stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Experience in bot automation and eagerness to learn new technologies.
• Familiarity with code repositories such as Github and Code Cloud.
• Experience with Jira for tracking bugs and process issues.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Oracle PDH applications.
• Basic understanding of STEP STIBO.
