About the position

The Oracle PL/SQL Developer at Zenith Services is responsible for leading the development and implementation of database solutions using PL/SQL and Oracle PL/SQL. This role involves overseeing the design and architecture of database systems, ensuring optimal performance, and providing technical expertise to team members. The developer will collaborate with front-end developers, ensure database security, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of database solutions using PL/SQL and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Oversee the design and architecture of database systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members on PL/SQL and Oracle PL/SQL best practices.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Ensure the security and integrity of database systems through regular audits and updates.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain documentation for database processes and procedures.
• Monitor database performance and implement improvements as needed.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Participate in the planning and execution of database migrations and upgrades.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies related to PL/SQL and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide project updates.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.

Requirements

• Senior level experience in PL/SQL and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Proficiency in Oracle Forms and Java 11.
• Experience in Hook Procedure Development.
