Innova Solutions is seeking an experienced Application Architect V_ Database to join our team, specifically for a project with Bank of America in Jersey City, NJ. This role is pivotal in defining the architectural vision and solution architecture that aligns with the enterprise architecture strategy, technology, and platform choices. The successful candidate will be responsible for articulating the solution intent and the associated operating environment, determining the primary systems and subsystems along with their interfaces, and defining nonfunctional requirements and architectural runway to support new epics and features. The Application Architect will ensure that the solution is fit for purpose by collaborating with stakeholders, vendors, and service providers, while also evaluating the impact of strategic design decisions. This role requires a deep understanding of both business and technology to create a comprehensive solution intent and architectural vision, evolving it to meet emerging business requirements. The architect will lead the rapid shaping of a high-level architecture, ensuring it is flexible, modular, and designed for adaptability. Utilizing defined best practices, templates, and documentation, the architect will create architectural designs and suggest improvements based on practical knowledge. The role involves working closely with the Product Manager/Owner to plan and prioritize technology-focused backlog items, clarifying architecture for development teams, and providing solution options to resolve architectural impediments. Additionally, the architect will perform design and code reviews to ensure all non-functional requirements are met, including security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability. Educating team members on technology practices and standardization strategies is also a key responsibility of this individual contributor role.
