About the position

The Oracle PL/SQL Developer position at Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC involves working with advanced SQL and Oracle PL/SQL technologies to develop and maintain complex database systems. The role requires a strong understanding of modern RDBMS products, particularly Oracle, and familiarity with PostgreSQL is considered a plus. The developer will be responsible for creating and optimizing database objects such as stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers, utilizing SQL and PL/SQL to ensure efficient data handling and processing. In addition to database development, the position demands extensive experience with ETL processes and data modeling. The developer will work with Informatica Platform, applying best practices in Informatica PowerCenter, Data Transformation, and Informatica B2B Data Exchange products. The role also includes creating mappings and workflows, implementing ETL concepts, and ensuring data integrity and performance through effective query tuning and optimization techniques. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in UNIX/Linux environments and experience with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and SDLC practices. Familiarity with DevOps tools such as UC4, Maven, Jenkins, and CI/CD processes is essential. The developer should also possess knowledge of programming languages and frameworks like Java, Angular, or React, as well as experience with API gateways. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex database objects using SQL and PL/SQL.

Requirements

• Excellent working knowledge of SQL and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Experience with Unix Shell, Perl, or Python programming languages.
• Proficiency in modern RDBMS products, especially Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Strong ETL and data modeling experience, particularly with Informatica.
• Ability to develop complex database objects and perform performance tuning.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins and Maven.
• Knowledge of programming languages and frameworks like Java, Angular, or React.
