About the position

The Senior Developer (Oracle PL/SQL) at HCLTech is responsible for developing and maintaining Oracle PL/SQL code to support various business applications. This role focuses on implementing and optimizing complex database solutions using Oracle technologies, ensuring data security and integrity, and collaborating with team members to deliver projects successfully.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Oracle PL/SQL code for various business applications.
• Implement and optimize database solutions using Oracle technologies.
• Collaborate within the team to gather requirements and ensure successful delivery of projects.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support.
• Optimize SQL queries and database performance.
• Ensure data security and integrity within the database systems.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in Oracle PL/SQL development.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of Oracle PL/SQL programming.
• Strong experience in database design and development using Oracle.
• Knowledge of performance tuning techniques in Oracle databases.
• Familiarity with Oracle SQL Developer or similar tools.
• Understanding of database security principles.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Nice-to-haves

• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) PL/SQL Developer is preferred.
