About the position

The Oracle PLSQL Database Developer role involves extensive experience in database development, specifically with Oracle databases. The position requires expertise in writing complex SQL queries and transforming SQL Server queries to Oracle queries, along with handling data migration and ensuring data validation and reconciliation processes. The developer will also focus on performance tuning and optimization, while collaborating effectively in client environments.

Responsibilities

• Write complex SQL queries using PL/SQL.
• Transform native SQL Server queries to Oracle queries.
• Solve migration code issues in Oracle PL/SQL.
• Perform data migration from one platform to another.
• Understand and implement validation and reconciliation processes during data migrations.
• Optimize database performance through tuning and optimization techniques.
• Design and implement ETL processes.

Requirements

• 10+ years of database developer experience in Oracle.
• Hands-on experience in writing complex SQL queries and PL/SQL.
• Experience with SQL Server and Oracle databases.
• Expert level understanding of database data warehousing and data modeling concepts.
• Hands-on experience in performance tuning and optimization.
• Good knowledge of ETL concepts and design.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.

Nice-to-haves

• Basic understanding of Python/R.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Snowflake and AWS.
