About the position
Infosys is seeking a mid-level Oracle Python Developer to develop custom IT applications focused on the supply chain area for clients. The role requires strong technical knowledge, analytical skills, and effective communication to ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Develop custom IT applications for the supply chain area.
- Utilize Oracle PL/SQL and Python for application development.
- Perform performance tuning and optimization of applications.
- Collaborate with global teams in an onsite-offshore model.
- Take proactive ownership of tasks and follow up with stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution.
- At least 4 years of experience in developing Oracle PL/SQL and Python applications.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL, including packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and analytical functions.
- Hands-on experience in performance tuning concepts using hints and AWR reports.
- Proficient in Python scripting, particularly with pandas data frames.
- Good logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Ability to work in a global delivery environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
