About the position

The Oracle Service Cloud - RightNow role is a contract position based in San Jose, CA, requiring a seasoned professional with extensive experience in Oracle Service Cloud implementations. The primary focus is on leveraging the Oracle Service Cloud platform to enhance customer service capabilities, with an emphasis on customer portal development, scripting, and integration with other applications.

Responsibilities

  • Implement Oracle Service Cloud (RightNow) solutions for clients.
  • Develop and configure Customer Portal and Customer Scripts.
  • Extend BUI functionalities as required.
  • Integrate Oracle Service Cloud with other applications using REST APIs.
  • Configure Knowledge Base and ensure effective management of customer information.
  • Utilize JavaScript for custom development and enhancements.
  • Work with modules such as CPM, Business Rules, Workspaces/Work Flows, and Analytics.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Oracle Service Cloud (RightNow).
  • Experience in at least 3 implementation projects of Oracle Service Cloud.
  • Proficient in Customer Portal, Customer Script, and BUI Extensions.
  • Strong understanding of connectPHP and REST APIs.
  • Experience in integrating Oracle Service Cloud with other applications.
  • Knowledge of CPM, Business Rules, Workspaces/Work Flows, and Analytics is desired.
  • Good experience with the Chat module is a plus.
  • Experience in Knowledge Base configuration is required.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript.
