About the position

The Oracle SQL Developer with DBA experience is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing PL/SQL stored procedures and functions while also performing database administration tasks. This role requires a strong background in Oracle database management, particularly version 19c, and involves both development and DBA responsibilities, with a focus on performance tuning and security measures.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, and packages.
• Write efficient and well-documented code.
• Perform database performance tuning and optimization.
• Analyze and troubleshoot database issues.
• Develop and implement database security measures.
• Assist in database upgrades and migrations.
• Optimize SQL queries for improved performance.
• Use Oracle tools (e.g., Explain Plan, SQL Tuning Advisor).
• Implement indexing strategies.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.
• Strong expertise in Oracle database (19c).
• Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, and query optimization.
• Experience with database performance tuning.
• Familiarity with Oracle tools (e.g., OEM, SQL Developer).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
