About the position

The Oracle SQL/Oracle PL/SQL Backend Developer with .Net for Web Services Development role involves developing and maintaining backend services using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, along with .Net technologies. The position requires strong skills in writing and optimizing SQL queries and a good understanding of web services frameworks. The role is a contract-to-hire position based in Houston, Texas, with a hybrid work model of three days onsite and two days remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and packages.
• Develop and maintain web services using .Net (C#).
• Utilize web services frameworks such as Web API.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve database-related issues.
• Interact with Oracle database tools like SQL Developer, SQL*Plus, or Toad.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Oracle SQL and Oracle PL/SQL development.
• Strong experience in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
• Basic experience with .Net (C#) for developing web services.
• Experience with web services frameworks (e.g., Web API).
• Good understanding of REST/SOAP web services and their interaction with back-end databases.
• Experience in troubleshooting and debugging database-related issues.
